Unless the client lives the lifestyle of his or her choice, the plan is inappropriate. Giving clients the confidence to enjoy their hard earned assets is my number one priority."

Sharon Paul
Having worked at the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) for the most part of twenty years Sharon decided to commence studying for the Diploma of Financial Planning in 1999 in preparation for a career change with the imminent closure of the Adelaide Branch of the RBA in 2003.

During her time at the RBA Sharon studied and achieved an Advanced Diploma of Accounting along with other qualifications from the Australian Institute of Management.  In her pursuit of success she held many positions until becoming Assistant Manager Banking Operations, a position which saw her delivering training to staff nationwide, and ultimately winding up operations in the Adelaide branch prior to its closure.

In April 2003 Sharon joined Portfolio Planning Solutions as a Para Planner, a position which provided her with a strong technical foundation for her move, in April 2006, into her current role as a Wealth Management Adviser.  Sharon derives much pleasure from this position, in particular, the opportunity to meet a wide array of people, helping to educate and assist them to achieve their lifestyle goals and objectives.

Having successfully completed her DFP in 2002, Sharon continued her personal development, commencing her Certified Financial Planner studies in 2005, a qualification which she is due to complete this year.

Outside of work, Sharon loves nothing more than escaping with husband Anthony and pooch Floyd to her ‘shack up the river’ to enjoy a relaxing weekend waterskiing, kayaking, and fishing with family and friends.  She also enjoys keeping fit with walking and playing Netball for her local district team.  A community spirit saw Sharon join the Country Fire Service as an auxiliary member twelve years ago and also become a regular blood and more recently, plasma, donor with the Red Cross.
